What is this workshop about?
It’s all about providing you with the tools to get the most out of your interview podcast.
What are the most clever ways to do your research? How do you refine the pitch and direction of the conversation? Where do you want to “land” your interview? Do you work towards something?
In this online workshop we focus on the many aspects that come with doing an interesting, smooth and balanced podcast interview. Ranging from the research and build-up of a conversation to comforting your guests, create a greater attention span for your listeners, using the right AI-tools at the right time, showing enough personality as a host while staying professional.
Personalized
This interactive workshop - yes, you can ask as many questions as you’d like throughout and after the session - is adapted to match the needs of your show. If you have already published one or more episodes we’ll listen to at least one episode to provide you with personalized feedback on content, sound and general feel.
All of this to help you achieve a more fluent, spontaneous sounding podcast with a clever build up and a clear pitch. The workshop comes with lots of tips and tricks personalized to your show.
After the workshop you’ll receive our findings in writing too.
Who is this for?
This session is for your business or organisation if you have a podcast or are starting one and want to give you or your team the tools to get the best quality out of your show with this 90-120 minute refinement course.
We allow up to 6 people of your organisation at the same time. In this small group we can address everyone’s questions personally and create a more in-depth experience than with large groups.
Individual makers are, offcourse, also welcome for this sessione one-on-one.

Niels De Keukelaere is the founder of WAJOO.STUDIO. He started podcasting way back in 2016 after studying journalism and getting some experience in radio. He works on various long-running shows and special podcast series for media, companies and organisations. You can find a pretty recent overview here. He loves to keep track of the latest trends and developments in podcasts through his network of inspiring creatives, tech-geeky friends and special events like international podcast festivals.
In 2020 he joined the podcast team of De Standaard - Mediahuis - as one of the hosts of the popular daily news podcast DS Vandaag. A truely insightful experience on bringing journalistic stories of all sorts to life in audio. Feel free to also watch the online session Niels did with head of podcasts Alexander Lippeveld on how to make such daily news podcasts.
Today, after hundreds of episodes at De Standaard, Niels is actively involved in the creation of many shows at Mediahuis and at WAJOO.STUDIO. For concept development, sound design, creating brand new music, being a sounding board, voice work, co-curating DS Podcastfestival, editing, producing and more. A truely diversified role that makes it exciting to keep learning on many levels about the everchanging podcast landscape.
It’s this combination of being eager to learn, years of experience in hosting and editing and involvement in many shows that makes him the perfect host for this personalised workshop.
